Bee Corridor Kolkata
The Bee Corridor was set up at Eco-Park for collecting data about the urban apiculture. It is one of a kind of a project where data is collected from the hives and the environment is engineered according to that data so that there is an nectar flow all year round. State-of the art AI is deployed to monitor the behavior of the bees coming and outgoing to the hive.
AI to monitor the behavior of the bees
AI have been implemented to count the incoming and outgoing traffic of the bees along with the identification of the forage collected, based on this data we can estimate the nectar flow and the surrounding environmental implications. AI is also able to determine if any pest or predator is attacking the hive.
